Where a healthy environment, a strong economy
and inquisitive minds come together.

Welcome to the Marys Peak Natural Resources Interpretive Center Homepage.

Thank you for you interest in supporting the community effort to engage students and teachers in the exciting world of outdoor scientific inquiry. We continue to passionately find ways to promote constructive dialogue about our natural world.

Several exciting events took place this year:

Ø   Over 600 students participated in science investigations outside the classroom.

Ø   Teacher and administrator workshops demonstrated new ways to teach science inquiry.

Ø   Family campfire programs provided “edu-tainment” and exciting outdoor activities for more than 400 people.

We would like to thank the generosity of numerous individuals that helped to positively impact students, families and community members throughout Benton County.  They helped pay for site access to hold community programs and weekly student field trips.  They volunteered numerous hours to assist with the completion of the wildlife viewing blind to assist with future research on the site.  Their donations helped secure the site for the continuation of student research and hands-on outdoor education for local High School students.  In addition this support helped to create a sense of community and a tremendous enthusiasm for natural resource education. We could not have accomplished so much without you!

Thank you for your support. We stand committed in our effort to provide inquiry-based science education for students, teachers and the public. We will continue to encourage constructive dialogue and understanding about natural resources management.

Donations are needed for ongoing programs and development.  Please consider a tax-deductible donation by viewing our Donate Now page to learn more.
